We were asked to migrate an existing website from a custom platform to a platform that would allow South Main to easily manage the site as well as send mass emails using custom HTML email templates.

The custom website solution was replaced with Joomla and the existing site design was redone using XHTML and CSS.  iContact was chosen as the mass emailing software because it allows for easy creation of custom mail templates.

Samyama Technology Solutions was asked to implement a website solution that would allow for easy content management, easy collection of email addresses and mass emailing capabilities.

The site was implemented in Wordpress and the design was created as a custom theme.  Email collection was handled via a custom plugin written in jQuery to allow for quick collection of emails from the site header.  The emailing capabilities were implemented in iContact with a custom HTML email template.
